Weißenbach is a tributary valley of Valle Aurina/Ahrntal with a height above sea of about 1300 meters.
With its 600 inhabitants, Weißenbach as holiday-destination has the ideal mixture of ease and rural rest and is considered very hospitable.

Theme-pathways and Kneipp-basins
The three theme-pathways in Weißenbach are very popular. Our mountain-village with its unique beauty of surrounding nature, the colored multiplicity of indigenous herbage and the natural forces water, air and light offers the ideal setting.
The health-pathways illustrate the three basic pillars of the therapy according to Kneipp and those are represented on all three paths, which are interconnected.

The Ahrntal valley is considered one of the most beautiful hike-areas in South Tyrol and lives up to its reputation.
Many very well signposted hiking paths lead you through the picturesque mountainous landscape until your reach the destination, may it be a challenging high peak (there are more than 80 summits over three thousand meters in Ahrntal) or an easily accessible mountain hut – that's up to you.
We will gladly give you some hiking tips with appropriate leaflets and give you advice on the choice of your trip.

For our mountain bike - and e-bike lovers, some newly built wide forest trails offer the possibility to enjoy wonderful views from our mountains, without big strain. With an effort according to your needs, you will master the height-meters as quick as a lightning.

Celebrations
A cultural variety is offered to you on our celebrations and various events that take place in the village and its surroundings. From the farmer's market to the traditional country fair – there is a lot to see and admire.
